Dr. Opiew O. Cham
Dr. Opiew O. Cham is a seasoned educator, author, and community consultant with decades of experience spanning higher education, K–12 schools, and international university leadership.
He served as an instructor for adult education at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas, a computer science teacher and career and technology coordinator at Legacy and Landmark Academy in Kaufman and Palestine, Texas, and a professor of project management and economics at St. Mary’s University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He also served as President and Associate Professor at Gambella University. As the founder and president of Partners in Africa — a nonprofit based in St. Paul, Minnesota — he continues to champion educational access and community development across borders.
